Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis of our operations within the transportation and logistics sector. This position demands a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, who can provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop, analyze, and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning activities.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans that align with corporate goals.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and trends.

- Reporting & Insights:
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Deliver insightful presentations to the leadership team, providing actionable recommendations based on financial data and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions.

- Cost Management:
- Analyze costing structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the supply chain.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.

- Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
