We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior General Counsel to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As the Senior General Counsel, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to our retail operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on a wide range of legal issues impacting the retail industry
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, lease agreements, and licensing agreements
- Manage and oversee litigation matters, including working with external counsel as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection laws and data privacy regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risk and ensure legal compliance
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal matters affecting the business
- Stay abreast of legal developments in the retail industry and advise on potential impacts to the business
- Manage a team of legal professionals and oversee their work to ensure high-quality legal support for the organization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university; Master's degree is a plus
- Admitted to practice law in Dubai; additional qualifications in other jurisdictions is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, with at least 5 years in a senior legal role within the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance in the UAE
- Experience managing complex legal matters and working with external counsel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
