Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hardware Engineer to join our innovative team in the Real Estate sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, system integration, and project management, with a passion for developing cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance property management and smart building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of hardware systems and components for smart building technologies, including IoT devices, sensors, and automated systems that enhance building efficiency and occupant comfort.

- Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes and conduct testing of hardware designs to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to improve designs.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and architects, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components in real estate projects.

- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and user manuals, to support the development and deployment of hardware systems.

- Standards and Compliance: Ensure that all hardware designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the real estate sector.

- Project Management: Manage multiple hardware development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and milestones.

- Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in hardware engineering and smart building technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on IoT, smart building systems, or related technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and developing hardware systems, including PCB design and embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for hardware design (e.g., Altium, Eagle, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies is desirable.
