Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer specializing in Construction Law to join our dynamic legal team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction projects, contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and legal compliance within the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional looking to further their career in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of construction law, including contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation. Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to construction projects.

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction contracts, including but not limited to, contracts with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

- Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve construction disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation. Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as necessary.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction projects. Stay updated on changes in legislation and their implications for clients.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic guidance to clients regarding potential legal risks associated with construction projects.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions to support their objectives.

- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other legal professionals, project managers, and stakeholders to provide comprehensive legal support throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

- Training and Mentorship: Mentor and support junior lawyers and legal staff within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law, with a strong background in contract law and dispute resolution.
- Licensing: Must be licensed to practice law in the UAE or hold a valid legal qualification equivalent to UAE standards.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
