Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Medical Writer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical writing, with a focus on telecommunications applications in healthcare. This role requires a unique blend of scientific knowledge, writing expertise, and an understanding of telecommunications technology as it relates to medical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Writing:
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality scientific documents, including but not limited to clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, clinical protocols, manuscripts for publication, and educational materials.
- Ensure that all written materials are accurate, clear, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

2. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical research, regulatory affairs, and telecommunications engineers, to gather information and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding medical writing needs and provide guidance on scientific content.

3. Research and Review:
- Conduct thorough literature reviews to support writing projects and ensure that the latest research and advancements in telecommunications and medical technology are incorporated into documents.
- Critically evaluate scientific data and communicate findings effectively to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.

4. Project Management:
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents.
- Develop project timelines and coordinate with team members to meet deadlines.

5. Quality Assurance:
- Review and provide feedback on documents prepared by junior writers or other team members, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
- Implement improvements to writing processes and documentation templates to enhance efficiency and quality.

6. Training and Mentorship:
- Provide training and mentorship to junior medical writers and new team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in medical writing and telecommunications, sharing knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical writing, with a focus on telecommunications or healthcare technology preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical research processes, regulatory requirements, and telecommunications applications in healthcare.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using medical writing software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
