Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on the education sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational products and services. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, drive quality initiatives, and enhance the overall user experience in our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for various software applications and platforms within the education sector.
- Lead the QA efforts in all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios.
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, identifying and documenting defects and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage, while also mentoring junior QA team members in automation best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA and the education sector, advocating for innovative solutions to enhance testing practices.
- Participate in project planning and review meetings, contributing to risk assessments and quality assurance strategies.
- Provide training and support to team members on QA tools, processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on education-related applications.
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing methodologies, tools (such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
