Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, proven experience in energy research, and a deep understanding of market trends, technologies, and policies affecting the energy industry. This role involves conducting comprehensive research, analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough market research and analysis in the energy sector, focusing on renewable energy, fossil fuels, energy efficiency, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive databases to track industry trends, key players, regulatory changes, and economic indicators that impact the energy market.
- Prepare detailed reports, white papers, and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, including project development, investment analysis, and policy advocacy.
- Monitor and analyze global energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Engage with industry experts, government officials, and other stakeholders to gather information and perspectives on key energy issues.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on research methodologies, data analysis, and report writing.
- Present research findings and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and innovations in the energy sector to identify potential market opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in energy research, market analysis, or consulting, preferably within the Middle East region.
- Strong understanding of the energy landscape, including traditional and renewable energy sources, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical software (e.g., Excel, R, Python), and research platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
