Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the field of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech-language pathology, with a particular focus on supporting individuals who utilize technology for communication purposes. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and adults, who may have speech, language, or communication disorders related to technological interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities, cognitive-communication skills, and swallowing disorders in clients using assistive technology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize innovative technological solutions to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in technology to improve client outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and IT specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Train and educate clients, families, and caregivers on the use of assistive communication devices and applications.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Participate in research and development of new therapeutic approaches and technologies that support communication and speech improvement.
- Mentor and supervise junior speech pathologists and interns, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in speech-language pathology and assistive technology.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role of technology in treatment.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Speech Pathologist in Dubai.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology, with a focus on technology-assisted communication.
- Strong understanding of various communication disorders, assessment methodologies, and treatment strategies.
- Experience with a range of assistive communication devices and software is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for utilizing technology to enhance client care.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
