Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Advisor to join our dynamic team in the retail sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our retail operations, driving growth, and enhancing customer experience in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that align with the overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to communicate strategic goals, gather insights, and foster a culture of innovation. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry organizations.

- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and potential risks. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and recommend actionable strategies.

- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

- Project Management: Lead strategic projects from inception to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Coordinate resources, manage timelines, and mitigate risks while driving projects toward successful completion.

- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Share best practices and insights to enhance the team's capabilities and effectiveness.

- Change Management: Support the organization in navigating change by developing and implementing change management strategies. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and acceptance of new initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in strategic planning and advisory roles within the retail sector.

- Proven track record of successful project management and strategic execution in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

- Knowledge of the retail landscape in the UAE and the broader Middle East region is a significant advantage.
