Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Advisor to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our organization and driving growth initiatives in a rapidly evolving market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape, with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that enhance competitive positioning and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term strategic goals and objectives. Develop comprehensive strategic plans that align with the organization’s vision and mission, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and stakeholder needs.

- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and threats within the telecommunications sector. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and initiatives.

- Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances that can drive revenue growth and enhance service offerings. Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

- Operational Excellence: Work closely with operational teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across various departments including marketing, sales, finance, and technology to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. Facilitate workshops and strategic sessions to promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Risk Management: Assess potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting progress on strategic initiatives, market insights, and recommendations for future actions.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, industry associations, and customers. Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the telecommunications sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related role within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the Middle Eastern telecommunications market is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends in telecommunications.
