Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategist to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing agriculture in the region. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to drive innovative solutions in agricultural practices, sustainability, and market development. This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural landscape, policy implications, and an ability to navigate complex challenges to promote growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability in the UAE and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the agricultural sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, and operations, to align strategic goals with operational capabilities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental bodies, agricultural organizations, and private sector partners.
- Lead initiatives focused on innovation in agricultural technologies, resource management, and sustainable practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, providing data-driven insights to refine approaches and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and present strategic reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about global agricultural trends, policies, and best practices to position the organization as a leader in the field.
- Mentor and guide junior strategists and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning or management within the agriculture sector.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience with agricultural policy and regulatory frameworks in the UAE and the broader Middle East region.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
