Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi's manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes and technologies. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our production systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving innovative solutions to meet our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing systems and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met and aligned with business objectives.

- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception through to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.

- Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, and integration of manufacturing systems. Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot complex engineering problems and propose effective solutions.

- Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the manufacturing processes.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, including production, quality assurance, and IT teams, to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes. Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all systems engineering processes, including specifications, design documents, and test plans. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff. Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in systems modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and CAD software.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with automation and control systems is a plus.
