Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Sharjah within the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical writing, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of complex technologies and engineering concepts. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining a variety of technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and system specifications. Your contributions will play a critical role in supporting our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, write, and edit high-quality technical documentation that meets the requirements of clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other technical staff to gather information and clarify technical details.
- Create and maintain documentation standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all materials.
- Conduct research and analyze complex technical information to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Utilize various tools and software for document creation, management, and distribution, including XML, Markdown, and documentation frameworks.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of documentation while adhering to project schedules and deadlines.
- Review and revise existing documentation to ensure it remains up-to-date with product changes and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to junior technical writers and other team members as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the aerospace and defense fields.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical processes, and complex systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, and others.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the aerospace and defense sector is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems and content management systems is desirable.
