Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Web Designer to join our dynamic team in the transportation and logistics sector. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and improving user experience across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design portfolio, excellent technical skills, and a passion for creating user-centered designs that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Design and Development:
- Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly websites and web applications that align with our brand identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and marketing specialists to create cohesive designs.

2. User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI):
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve the overall user experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.

3. Responsive Design:
- Ensure that all web designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and platforms, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.

4. Branding and Visual Identity:
- Create and maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital platforms, ensuring alignment with the company's branding guidelines.
- Develop graphics, icons, and other visual elements that enhance the user experience.

5. Performance Optimization:
- Work closely with the development team to ensure website performance, including load speed and SEO best practices.
- Monitor and analyze website analytics to identify areas for improvement and enhance user engagement.

6. Stay Current with Trends:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web design and user experience.
- Advocate for innovative design solutions that push the boundaries of traditional web design.

7. Mentorship and Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Lead design review sessions and contribute to the overall design strategy of the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web design, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
- Solid portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects and innovative design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
