Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wireless Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wireless technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our wireless communications infrastructure, supporting our commitment to providing exceptional financial services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain wireless network infrastructure to support financial applications and services.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal wireless coverage and performance in various environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless solutions with existing IT infrastructure and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless connectivity issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to wireless network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in wireless communications and network security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and selection processes for wireless hardware and software solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the financial services sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in wireless engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level wireless networks.
- Proven expertise in wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF design, and site surveys.
- Strong experience with network security protocols, including WPA2/WPA3, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements related to data security and network management.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and wireless management solutions (e.g., Cisco Prime, AirWave, Ekahau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CWNP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Wireless, Aruba ACMA) are a plus.
