Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Writer to join our dynamic team in the Consumer Goods sector based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. As a Senior Writer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s voice and messaging across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation: Develop high-quality written content for a range of platforms, including website, social media, email newsletters, product descriptions, press releases, and marketing materials. Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s strategy and values.

- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to inform content strategy and ensure relevance.

- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to create cohesive campaigns that effectively communicate product benefits and features to target audiences.

- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content produced by junior writers and other team members, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of content strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates. Identify opportunities for new content types and distribution methods.

- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices in content creation to improve visibility and search engine rankings, driving organic traffic to our platforms.

- Performance Tracking: Analyze content performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for future content initiatives.

- Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador, understanding our products and values deeply, and conveying that passion through engaging and persuasive writing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of professional writing experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.

- Proven ability to adapt tone and style to meet the needs of different audiences and platforms.

- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.

- Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
