Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Social Services Coordinator to join our team in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting social welfare programs, community engagement, and support services aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals and families impacted by our operations. This position requires a passionate individual with a strong background in social services, community development, and a commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement social services programs that align with the company's strategic goals and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

- Community Engagement: Foster and maintain relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and government agencies to identify needs and enhance support services.

- Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to determine the social and economic needs of community members, ensuring that programs are relevant and effective.

- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and report data on program effectiveness, community needs, and service delivery outcomes. Use data to inform future programming and decision-making.

- Resource Allocation: Manage budgetary resources for social service programs; ensure efficient use of funds and compliance with policies and regulations.

- Training and Support: Provide training and support for staff and volunteers involved in social services initiatives. Develop educational materials and workshops to enhance community awareness.

- Advocacy: Advocate for community needs and represent the organization in local forums, ensuring that the voice of the community is heard.

- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization, such as HR, sustainability, and public relations, to integrate social services initiatives into overall company strategy.

- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on program progress, achievements, and areas for improvement to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Community Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social services coordination, community development, or related fields within the energy sector or similar industries.

- Strong knowledge of social service regulations, community resources, and best practices in program design and implementation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government officials, and corporate partners.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management systems.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in multicultural environments and understanding of the socio-economic dynamics in the UAE.

- Familiarity with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
