Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Aide to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Special Education Aide will work closely with students who have special needs, providing one-on-one support and assistance in the classroom. This position is based in the financial services sector, and the ideal candidate will have a background in education and a passion for helping students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

- Assist students with special needs in the classroom, providing support with assignments, projects, and activities
- Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide behavioral support and intervention as needed to help students succeed in the classroom
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to ensure the needs of students with special needs are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- At least 2-4 years of experience working with students with special needs
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities and behavioral disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
