Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Coordinator to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and will play a crucial role in developing and implementing educational programs that cater to diverse learning requirements within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and oversee special education programs tailored to the unique needs of employees and clients within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Collaborate with educational professionals, healthcare providers, and corporate training teams to design and deliver effective training and resources for individuals with special educational needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the specific needs of participants and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of special education programs and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Serve as a resource for staff, management, and stakeholders on best practices in special education and inclusive training methodologies.
- Provide training and support to staff on teaching strategies and accommodations for individuals with special needs.
- Liaise with external agencies, including educational institutions and healthcare providers, to coordinate services and support for individuals with SEND.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards related to special education and disability support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, progress reports, and interventions for all individuals receiving special education services.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to raise awareness and promote inclusion within the workplace.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in special education coordination, preferably within the corporate or pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective educational programs and interventions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and evaluate individual needs and program effectiveness.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to support learning and development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
