Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sports Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the integration of sports and agriculture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports management, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine interest in promoting wellness through physical activity within agricultural settings. This role will involve planning, organizing, and executing sports programs that foster community engagement among agricultural workers and their families, promoting both physical fitness and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development:
- Design and implement a variety of sports and recreational programs tailored to the needs of agricultural workers and their families.
- Collaborate with local sports organizations, schools, and community groups to develop partnerships and enhance program offerings.

2. Event Management:
- Organize and oversee sports events, tournaments, and community activities, ensuring smooth execution and high participation rates.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, equipment procurement, marketing, and volunteer management.

3. Community Engagement:
- Promote sports and physical activity as a means of improving health and wellness within the agricultural community.
- Conduct outreach initiatives to encourage participation in sports programs, highlighting benefits such as teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness.

4. Education and Training:
- Develop educational materials and workshops that focus on the importance of physical activity, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Provide training and support for coaches, volunteers, and participants to enhance skills and knowledge related to various sports.

5. Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track participation rates, program effectiveness, and community feedback to assess the impact of sports initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

6. Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the budget for sports programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Seek sponsorship and funding opportunities to support sports initiatives within the agricultural community.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sports coordination, event management, or a similar role.
- Experience working with diverse communities, particularly in agricultural or rural settings, is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using technology for program management, including social media, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
