Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Statistician Assistant to join our dynamic team in the construction sector in Dubai. This role will involve assisting in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of statistical data related to construction projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective decision-making process by providing valuable insights based on quantitative data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and implementation of statistical studies and surveys relevant to construction projects.
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Perform statistical analysis using software tools and methodologies to interpret data trends and patterns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to project managers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify key performance indicators and develop dashboards for monitoring project progress.
- Support senior statisticians in developing predictive models to forecast project outcomes and resource needs.
- Conduct quality control checks on data to ensure the reliability of statistical analyses.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in statistical methods and software applications.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on statistical techniques and data analysis processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 6 years of experience in a statistical or analytical role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and project management processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
