Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi's transportation and logistics sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all sterile medical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use in accordance with industry standards. This position is vital to maintaining the highest levels of safety and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments, medical devices, and other equipment used in logistics and transportation.
- Prepare and package instruments for sterilization, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and other sterilization technologies.
- Conduct routine inspections of sterilization processes and equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments and supplies to various departments as needed.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and monitoring of supply levels for sterile instruments and materials.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the sterile processing area to meet health and safety regulations.
- Support the implementation of infection control measures and best practices to prevent contamination.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in Sterile Processing Technology or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with sterilization techniques, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes in sterile processing.
