We are seeking a Stockroom Clerk Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi within the telecommunications industry. The Stockroom Clerk Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Stockroom Clerk in managing and organizing inventory in the stockroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Stockroom Clerk in receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items in the stockroom
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
- Assist in conducting inventory checks and audits
- Help in organizing stockroom space and maintaining cleanliness
- Assist in preparing orders for shipment and packing items for delivery
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient stockroom operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is preferred (up to 8 years)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
