Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk Assistant to join our team in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our stockroom by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the receiving of pharmaceutical products, verifying quantities and conditions against shipping documents.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom inventory, ensuring that all items are stored in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory management to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Prepare orders for distribution by picking, packing, and labeling pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor expiration dates and assist in the rotation of stock to minimize waste and ensure the availability of quality products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the stockroom to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to stock levels, inventory movements, and discrepancies.
- Support the Stockroom Supervisor in daily operations and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to health, safety, and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry (1-7 years).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player with a proactive attitude.
