Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Stockroom Clerk Assistant to join our dynamic team in the energy sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our stockroom by managing inventory, assisting with procurement processes, and ensuring that all materials are stored and handled according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.

- Receiving and Inspection: Support the receipt of incoming materials, ensuring that all items are inspected for quality and quantity before acceptance into the stockroom.

- Storage Organization: Help organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring that all materials are stored safely and efficiently, with proper labeling and categorization.

- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing materials for internal orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to various departments within the organization.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns, and assist in generating reports for management review.

- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding inventory levels and material requirements.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices when handling materials and operating equipment within the stockroom.

- Customer Service: Provide support to internal stakeholders regarding stock availability and assist in resolving any issues related to inventory.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in inventory management or supply chain is a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management role, preferably within the energy sector.

- Familiarity with inventory management software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support a positive workplace culture.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand for extended periods.
