Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction by providing insights, developing long-term strategies, and supporting key initiatives that drive growth and profitability. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, market analysis, and project management skills to effectively navigate the complexities of the consumer goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape within the consumer goods sector.
- Analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
2. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company’s strategic vision, mission, and long-term goals.
- Create and maintain strategic planning frameworks, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
3. Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth.
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, including product launches and market expansions.
4. Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Regularly report on performance against strategic goals, providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to promote strategic alignment and collaborative execution of plans.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful strategy implementation.
6. Project Management:
- Lead strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure resources are aligned and project objectives are met.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends to recommend innovative strategies that enhance competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by encouraging feedback and adaptation of strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Proven experience in market analysis, strategic framework development, and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant analytics tools.
