Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Telemetry Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry systems, data collection, and analysis, with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain telemetry systems for agricultural monitoring, ensuring accurate data collection from various sources such as soil sensors, weather stations, and irrigation systems.
- Collaborate with agronomists and farm managers to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish telemetry requirements to optimize crop yield and resource management.
- Analyze telemetry data to provide insights and recommendations for improving agricultural operations, including irrigation efficiency, soil health, and crop performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to telemetry equipment and data transmission, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of telemetry equipment to ensure reliable performance and data accuracy.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on telemetry findings, trends, and recommendations for stakeholders, including management and field teams.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in telemetry technology and agricultural practices, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Train and support staff on the use of telemetry systems and data interpretation, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with telemetry systems, data analysis, or related technologies in an agricultural setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
- Strong technical skills in telemetry hardware and software, including familiarity with IoT devices, wireless communication, and data logging systems.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and challenges, particularly in the context of precision agriculture and sustainable farming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
