Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Television Writer to join our innovative team in the manufacturing sector, based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of television production, and the ability to craft engaging scripts that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Script Development: Write, edit, and polish scripts for television programs focusing on themes relevant to the manufacturing industry, including technology, innovation, sustainability, and workforce development.

- Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, technical processes, and market needs to ensure accuracy and relevance in all written content.

- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and other writers to develop storylines that align with the overall vision of the production. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts.

- Feedback Implementation: Revise scripts based on feedback from stakeholders and audience testing, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and audience expectations.

- Networking: Attend industry events and networking opportunities to stay updated on current trends and to build relationships with industry professionals.

- Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies that effectively communicate the manufacturing brand and enhance viewer engagement.

- Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all scripts are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Film, Television, Communications, or a related field.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in television writing or a similar role.

- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work, including teleplays, screenplays, or other relevant writing samples.

- Excellent storytelling abilities with a knack for creating compelling characters and dialogue.

- Familiarity with the television production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into accessible content.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scriptwriting software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx).

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its trends is a plus.

- Experience with digital media and online content creation.

- Multilingual abilities, particularly in Arabic and English, are advantageous.
