Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Television Writer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of the aerospace and defense landscape, and the ability to create compelling narratives that captivate audiences. As part of our creative division, you will be tasked with developing scripts for a range of television programs, including documentaries, dramas, and informational series that highlight the innovations and challenges within the aerospace and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Script Development: Create engaging and original scripts tailored to various television formats, ensuring alignment with project objectives and audience interests.

- Research: Conduct thorough research on aerospace and defense topics, including technological advancements, historical events, and current issues. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth in storytelling.

- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and other writers to develop concepts, story arcs, and character development, ensuring a cohesive vision for each project.

- Editing and Revising: Review and revise scripts based on feedback from peers and stakeholders, maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.

- Creative Brainstorming: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for future projects, staying abreast of industry trends and audience preferences.

- Adherence to Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of scripts and adherence to production schedules.

- Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including directors, producers, and subject matter experts, to enhance storytelling and production quality.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Film, Television Production, Communications, or a related field.

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in television writing, preferably with a focus on documentary and dramatic storytelling. Experience in aerospace and defense is a plus.

- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work, including samples of scripts, produced works, or relevant projects.

- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong research abilities, with a knack for translating complex topics into accessible narratives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in scriptwriting software and other relevant writing tools.

- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
