Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the education sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our innovative educational products and systems. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a passion for enhancing the learning experience through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various educational software applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Conduct functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and document defects and ensure that all issues are resolved before deployment.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to the development team and management, outlining findings and recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in educational software testing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the education sector.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with educational technologies, e-learning platforms, and user experience design is a plus.
