We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theater Technician to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Theater Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all technical aspects of theatrical productions, events, and performances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lighting, sound, and audiovisual equipment for performances and events
- Assist with the design and implementation of lighting and sound effects
- Coordinate with performers, directors, and production staff to ensure technical requirements are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during performances
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed
- Ensure the safety and security of all technical equipment and systems
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of sets, props, and equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure smooth and successful productions
Qualifications:
- Minimum [random number] years of experience as a Theater Technician
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting, sound, and audiovisual equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of theater production practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
