We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all traffic and logistics operations within our pharmaceutical company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate transportation of pharmaceutical products to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and warehouse, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of transportation needs
- Negotiate contracts with transportation providers to secure competitive rates and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and provide regular reports to management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety regulations and customs procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in traffic management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of transportation logistics and supply chain management principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
