We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwriting Manager to join our team in Ajman, specializing in healthcare insurance. As the Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting process for healthcare insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of underwriters in reviewing and analyzing healthcare insurance applications
- Evaluate risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and premium rates
- Develop underwriting guidelines and procedures to streamline the process
- Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust underwriting practices accordingly
- Train and mentor underwriting staff to ensure high performance and professional development
- Handle complex underwriting cases and provide guidance as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports on underwriting activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
