We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Urban Forester Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work closely with the Urban Forester to assist in the management and maintenance of urban forests within the city, with a focus on transportation and logistics infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of urban forestry programs and projects within the city of Abu Dhabi.
- Conduct site assessments and develop tree planting and maintenance plans for transportation and logistics infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and supervise tree planting and maintenance activities, including tree inventory, pruning, watering, and pest management.
- Monitor the health and growth of urban trees, and implement strategies to mitigate any issues or challenges.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups, to promote urban forestry initiatives and increase public awareness.
- Assist in the development of policies, guidelines, and standards related to urban forestry in Abu Dhabi.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in urban forestry and arboriculture.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in urban forestry or arboriculture.
- Knowledge of tree species, planting techniques, pruning methods, and tree care practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
