Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Utility Worker Assistant to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations on construction sites by providing support to skilled workers and helping maintain the safety and cleanliness of work areas. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist skilled workers in various construction tasks, including but not limited to general labor, material handling, and equipment operation.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and supplies as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced personnel.
- Support the setup and dismantling of scaffolding, ladders, and temporary structures as required.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Help in the maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
- Assist in the preparation of work areas, including marking locations and setting up barriers for safety.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to construction practices and safety regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure project completion and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a construction or similar labor-intensive role.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced workers and supervisors.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the construction industry is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods.
- Capable of carrying and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 kg).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
