Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Reality Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in virtual reality technologies, software development, and hardware integration. The Virtual Reality Technician will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of VR systems and applications, ensuring seamless user experiences in various environments, including gaming, training simulations, and educational applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain virtual reality hardware and software systems, including VR headsets, sensors, and related peripherals.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues related to VR systems and ensuring minimal downtime. Respond promptly to user inquiries and resolve problems effectively.

- Content Development: Collaborate with developers and designers to create and optimize VR content, ensuring compatibility and performance across different platforms and devices.

- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing of VR applications and systems, identifying and documenting bugs or issues, and working with developers to implement solutions.

- User Training: Conduct training sessions for users on VR systems and applications, ensuring they understand how to utilize the technology effectively for their specific needs.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all VR systems, including setup procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals, ensuring that information is up to date and accessible.

- Research and Development: Stay informed about the latest advancements in VR technology and explore potential applications within the organization. Participate in R&D projects to enhance VR capabilities and user experiences.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, and project management, to ensure successful implementation of VR solutions across various projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in virtual reality technology, software development, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of VR hardware, software, and platforms (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive, Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript, with experience in VR development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation software is a plus.
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and a passion for innovation in the VR space.
