Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Virtual Reality Technician to join our dynamic team in the retail sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong background in virtual reality systems, providing exceptional technical support and maintenance for VR installations. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through innovative VR solutions, ensuring seamless operation of our virtual reality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation and Setup:
- Install, configure, and maintain virtual reality hardware and software systems in retail locations.
- Collaborate with retail staff to set up immersive VR experiences that engage customers and enhance product understanding.

- Technical Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for VR systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise.
- Respond promptly to technical inquiries from staff and customers, ensuring minimal downtime of VR installations.

- Training and Development:
- Train retail staff on the operation and maintenance of VR equipment to ensure optimal use and customer engagement.
- Develop training materials and user manuals for easy reference.

- System Maintenance:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on VR systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Implement updates and upgrades to software and hardware as needed, ensuring the systems remain current with industry standards.

- Customer Engagement:
- Assist in creating and implementing engaging VR retail experiences that captivate customers and drive sales.
- Gather customer feedback on VR experiences to continually improve offerings and address any concerns.

- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to develop new VR content and experiences that align with the brand's vision.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate and improve VR offerings in the retail space.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Game Design, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical support or technician role, with a focus on virtual reality systems.

- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of VR hardware and software, including headsets, motion tracking systems, and VR development platforms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues related to VR systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support users of varying technical expertise.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of customer experience and engagement in a retail environment.

- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate retail schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving VR technology and customer engagement.
