Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Quality Technician to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and analyzing water quality parameters in various water sources related to energy production. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards while supporting our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular water sampling and testing across various sites, including industrial and natural water sources.
- Perform laboratory analyses on water samples to assess physical, chemical, and biological parameters, including pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, heavy metals, and microbial content.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and field monitoring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing.
- Compile and analyze data from water quality tests, preparing detailed reports and documentation of findings for regulatory compliance and internal review.
- Collaborate with environmental engineers and other stakeholders to develop and implement water quality management plans and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of water treatment processes and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and submissions to local and international environmental authorities.
- Stay updated with local and federal regulations regarding water quality standards and environmental practices in the energy sector.
- Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge in water quality management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in water quality testing and analysis, preferably within the energy sector or a similar industrial environment.
- Familiarity with water quality monitoring equipment and laboratory testing procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficient in using data management software and laboratory information systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks in the UAE or the Gulf region.
- Knowledge of advanced water treatment technologies and sustainable practices in the energy industry.
