Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in Dubai, focusing on agricultural water management. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our water treatment facilities, ensuring high-quality water supply for agricultural use. This role is essential for supporting sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing crop yield through efficient water management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operation of Water Treatment Systems:
- Operate and monitor various water treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection, and chemical treatment systems.
- Adjust treatment processes based on water quality testing results and operational guidelines to maintain optimal performance.

2. Monitoring and Testing:
- Conduct regular water quality tests, including pH, turbidity, and contamination levels, to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Record and analyze data related to water quality and treatment efficiency to identify trends and implement necessary adjustments.

3. Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance on water treatment equipment and machinery, including pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.

4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international water quality regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required, detailing water quality and treatment processes.

5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with agricultural staff to determine water needs and optimize water usage for crop irrigation.
- Provide training and guidance to junior operators and other team members on best practices in water treatment and safety protocols.

6. Safety and Environmental Practices:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions to enhance understanding of emergency response procedures.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in water treatment or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment operations, preferably in an agricultural context.
- Familiarity with water quality regulations and environmental standards specific to the UAE.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to water treatment equipment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
