Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Weather Technician to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting weather conditions that may impact healthcare services and patient care. This critical role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that environmental factors are assessed and managed to maintain optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze real-time weather data using advanced meteorological equipment and software.
- Prepare and disseminate daily and weekly weather forecasts and reports that are relevant to healthcare operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to evaluate the impact of weather conditions on patient care, transportation, and facility operations.
- Conduct environmental assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, particularly during extreme weather events.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to healthcare management based on weather forecasts and trends.
- Maintain and calibrate meteorological equipment to ensure accurate data collection.
- Document and archive weather-related incidents and their impacts on healthcare services.
- Participate in emergency preparedness planning by assessing weather-related risks and developing response strategies.
- Stay updated on advancements in meteorological technology and techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in weather monitoring or environmental analysis, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proficient in using meteorological software and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of atmospheric science and its applications in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex weather information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and liaise with various departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in environmental monitoring.
