Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Web Content Manager Assistant to join our team in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and optimizing our web content to ensure that our online presence effectively communicates our brand and engages our target audience. This role requires a passion for technology, strong writing skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in creating, editing, and publishing high-quality content for the company’s website, including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and multimedia content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy in content related to aerospace and defense topics.

- SEO and Analytics:
- Support the Web Content Manager in implementing SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for content improvement.

- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and engineering teams to align online content with broader company objectives.
- Assist in coordinating with external vendors and partners for content-related projects and initiatives.

- Content Updates and Maintenance:
- Regularly review and update existing web content to ensure it remains current and relevant.
- Help maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication of web materials and promotions.

- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on published content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Proofread and edit content before publication to eliminate errors and enhance clarity.

- Research and Trends:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the aerospace and defense sector to inform content strategy.
- Conduct research on relevant topics to generate ideas for new content.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web content management, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
