Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer Assistant to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the design and development of our healthcare website and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web design, a strong understanding of user experience, and a desire to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of responsive web pages that align with our healthcare branding and user experience goals.
- Collaborate with senior web designers and other team members to create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts.
- Support the integration of multimedia elements, including images, videos, and infographics, to enhance the website's content and functionality.
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure optimal performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design concepts and solutions that address the needs of our healthcare audience.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring all information is accurate, relevant, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the development of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Keep abreast of current web design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our digital presence is modern and effective.
- Coordinate with IT and marketing teams to ensure seamless website functionality and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the website.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in web design or a related role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices in web design.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar graphic design software.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to web design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards is a plus.
