Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer Assistant to join our dynamic team in the construction sector. This position will support the web design team in creating engaging and user-friendly websites that effectively showcase our projects, values, and services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a good understanding of web technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of responsive websites and web applications that align with our brand identity and meet the needs of our target audience.
- Collaborate with senior web designers to implement design concepts and layouts, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Create and edit graphics, images, and multimedia content for web use, ensuring all materials are optimized for performance and accessibility.
- Support the maintenance and regular updates of existing websites, ensuring content is current and relevant.
- Conduct research for current design trends in the construction industry and incorporate findings into design projects.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals for web design projects, including wireframes and mockups.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of web content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and feedback on ongoing projects.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve web-related issues, ensuring consistent and optimal website functionality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in web design or a related role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and familiarity with web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail, along with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects and creative work is required.
