Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Development Manager to lead our web development team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies, a passion for innovation, and excellent leadership abilities. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a creative mindset to deliver high-quality web solutions that enhance our online presence and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of web developers, designers, and other IT professionals to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality output.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring the use of best practices in web development, coding standards, and security measures.
- Web Architecture: Design and implement scalable and efficient web architectures that support our business objectives and enhance user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to gather requirements and develop web solutions that meet business needs.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance practices for web development, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential application to improve our web platforms.
- Budget Management: Assist in budgeting for web development projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on project progress, team performance, and web analytics to inform stakeholders and guide decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and managing web applications, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend frameworks (e.g., PHP, Node.js).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
