Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Development Manager to lead our web development team within the Consumer Goods sector. This position will be pivotal in shaping our online presence and enhancing our eCommerce capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in web development, project management, and team leadership, along with a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of web developers, designers, and digital marketers to deliver high-quality web projects. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects from conception to launch. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

- Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and support to the team, ensuring best practices in web development, including coding standards, responsive design, and user experience (UX).

- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to define and implement web strategies that align with business objectives and enhance customer engagement.

- Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, implementing improvements to optimize speed, functionality, and user experience.

- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding web projects. Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively.

- Budget Management: Manage the web development budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to meet project goals.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our web offerings.

- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed for specialized projects and services, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento).
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and digital marketing strategies in the consumer goods sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
