Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor Assistant to join our educational institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support our lead yoga instructors in delivering high-quality yoga classes and workshops while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of yoga and gain practical experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist lead yoga instructors in preparing and delivering yoga classes, workshops, and special events.
- Help set up and break down yoga equipment and props before and after classes.
- Provide support to students during classes, offering modifications and adjustments as needed to ensure safety and proper technique.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for students, encouraging participation and engagement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yoga studio and equipment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for class development and student engagement strategies.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of special yoga events, workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead instructors on individual needs and progress.
- Stay updated on the latest yoga trends, techniques, and developments in the industry.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including class scheduling, student attendance tracking, and communication with students and parents.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in yoga instruction, yoga assistance, or related experience (less than 8 years).
- Certification in Yoga Instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., RYT-200 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of yoga principles, techniques, and philosophy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for teaching and helping others develop their yoga practice.

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of child development and teaching methodologies for youth yoga classes.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
