Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Youth Advocate to join our retail team in Abu Dhabi. This role will involve engaging with young customers, promoting our brand ethos, and ensuring that the voices of young people are represented within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of youth culture, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with young consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engagement and Representation:
- Act as a liaison between the company and the youth community, ensuring their opinions and needs are heard and addressed.
- Organize and facilitate focus groups, surveys, and feedback sessions with young customers to gather insights about their preferences and experiences.

2. Program Development:
- Develop and implement outreach programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for young people.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create youth-centric campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

3. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to young shoppers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism.
- Train and mentor retail staff on effective communication and engagement strategies with youth customers.

4. Community Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, and youth organizations to promote the brand and its values.
- Organize events, workshops, and activities that engage young people and promote a positive retail experience.

5. Advocacy:
- Advocate for youth-related issues within the retail space, ensuring that products, services, and policies consider the needs and preferences of young consumers.
- Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities affecting youth in the retail sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in youth advocacy, community engagement, or customer service within a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of youth culture and trends in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE region.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to create engaging content for various platforms to communicate with young audiences.
