Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Adult Educator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in retail training. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for adult learning, a strong background in retail operations, and the ability to design and deliver engaging training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within our retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of retail staff, focusing on areas such as customer service, sales techniques, product knowledge, and store operations.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements among retail employees.
- Design instructional materials and resources, including e-learning modules, training manuals, and visual aids that align with adult learning principles.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, including lectures, group discussions, role-playing, and hands-on activities.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with retail management to ensure training aligns with business goals and enhances employee performance.
- Mentor and support staff in their professional development, providing guidance and resources to foster growth and advancement within the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in adult education and retail training.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program evaluations.
- Assist in the development of a culture of learning within the organization by promoting training initiatives and encouraging participation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in adult education or training, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development for adult learners.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service principles, and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
- Proficient in using various training technologies and tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and multimedia resources.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
