Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aerodynamics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on innovative solutions within the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of aerodynamics principles and their application to various transportation modes, contributing to the development of efficient and sustainable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Aerodynamic Analysis: Conduct detailed aerodynamic analyses of vehicle designs, including trucks, vans, and other transportation modes. Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software to simulate airflow and assess the impact on performance and fuel efficiency.

- Design Optimization: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize vehicle shapes and features for improved aerodynamic performance. Provide design recommendations to enhance stability, reduce drag, and improve fuel efficiency.

- Testing and Validation: Plan and execute wind tunnel tests and field experiments to validate aerodynamic models and assumptions. Analyze test data to refine design concepts and improve overall performance.

- Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in aerodynamics and transportation technologies. Contribute to research projects aimed at developing innovative solutions for reducing emissions and enhancing efficiency within the logistics sector.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to integrate aerodynamic principles into product designs and processes. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing analysis results, methodologies, and design recommendations. Ensure all documentation is clear and accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with project managers to establish timelines and resource allocations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in aerodynamics, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar) and experience with wind tunnel testing.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with project management and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to transportation and logistics is a plus.
