Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agricultural Economist to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, focusing on the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural economics with a solid understanding of construction-related agricultural projects. You will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, evaluating agricultural productivity, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize resource utilization in construction projects related to the agriculture sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive economic research and analysis related to agricultural systems and their integration into construction projects.
- Develop and implement economic models to assess the feasibility and profitability of agricultural construction projects.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and demand for agricultural products to inform construction strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and environmental scientists, to ensure agricultural considerations are integrated into construction projects.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and policy briefs to communicate findings, recommendations, and impacts of agricultural practices on construction.
- Monitor and evaluate the economic impacts of construction projects on local agricultural communities and the broader economy.
- Advise on best practices for sustainable agricultural development within construction, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to share knowledge and promote advancements in agricultural economics within the construction sector.
- Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and technological advancements that may affect agricultural economics and construction practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in agricultural economics, preferably with exposure to construction projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and other relevant economic modeling tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices and regulations in the UAE.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving and project management.
